Animal Care

Creativity and confidence through a professional and therapeutic approach

Our Approach

Our Animal Care sessions are designed to create a sense of calm, safety and connection for our children and young people. Spending time with our onsite animals can have a hugely positive impact on emotional wellbeing. Our young people are actively involved in the day-to-day care of all our animals and it is through these experiences, they gain a deeper understanding of compassion, respect and the importance of caring for another living being.

All our staff receive specialist Animal Care training to ensure the highest standards of welfare and learning opportunities for our young people.
We also regularly welcome our Vet on site, giving children and young people the opportunity to observe, ask questions and develop their understanding of animal health and care.
