Frequently Asked Questions

Will it be loud and noisy?
No! We have very small groups at Corfe Valley and we are hidden away in the countryside where it is always peaceful and quiet*
*Except when the goats are hungry!
Why am I coming to Corfe Valley?
We think you’re really lucky – you may be coming to us because you need a break from school, some peace and quiet, a fresh start or to work with similar children to help make friends.
What animals do you have?
We have a range of cheeky pygmy goats, chickens of all shapes and sizes and very friendly sheep and lambs. You may meet our cuddly Labrador, Hurley – just watch your lunch!
What do I have to wear?
Wear what you feel comfortable in! Just remember, we are on a working small holding with animals so wear warm clothes that you don’t mind holding the animals in. Spare clothes are a good idea!
Do I bring lunch?
Yes – bring plenty of packed lunch . Food that you are comfortable with and happy to eat.
Are people at Corfe Valley friendly?
Yes! We feel really lucky that all the children (and staff!) at Corfe Valley are kind and caring. They will welcome you and make you feel at home.
